Saint John, N.B. – July 5, 2017

Lorneville has received two awards under the inaugural Canadian Safety Achievement Awards (CS2A) program recently launched by the GPMC/NMC of Canada.  The awards celebrate the efforts of Clients, Signatory Employers, and Unions who work together to achieve exceptional safety performance on their GPMA and NMA projects each year.

Lorneville received the 365 Daily Maintenance Award for projects at Irving Oil (62, 118 injury-free craft hours) and NB Power Pt. Lepreau (128,476 injury-free craft hours). The 365 Daily Maintenance Award showcases stakeholders who have executed long-term maintenance at industrial plants for 365 days or greater without having a recordable injury.
