Lorneville adds Lloyd’s Register certification for Marine Applications

Saint John, NB – October 16, 2023

Lorneville is pleased to announce that we have added the Lloyd’s Register Workshop Quality Scheme certificate to our list of quality program approvals.  The certification covers the manufacture of welded products for pipe spools and supports in carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

Lloyd’s Register’s quality schemes provide an alternative approach for product assurance. It enables the assessment of a product’s quality during the different stages of manufacture, scoping the complete supply chain through a combination of product and system auditing while applying quality assurance principles.

We are excited by the new opportunities this certification presents as we continue to position Lorneville to serve the upcoming marine industry demands from the National Shipbuilding Strategy as well as the burgeoning marine renewables industry in Canada and the US Atlantic seaboard.
